2002 Open Day

31st August 2002 - Air-Stream Open Day
Air-Stream currently have working Access Points and about 4 nodes, so this open day was an excellent opportunity to share ideas and discuss wireless technology. It was held at Ayrs Rd, Rosslyn Park and we were really lucky with the weather. The turn out was excellent and we were able to see in action some of the gear that is being used in the Adelaide area. There was a functioning Wireless LAN and link to the Skye AP. Some antenna modding demonstrations were interesting, as was the variety of antennas in use. We'd like to thank Air-Stream for a great day and congratulate them on their organisation. We look forward to days like this and will be looking at holding a Wireless Adelaide BBQ sometime soon.
